Pembroke

PembrokePembroke itself is a small town surrounded by its ancient Town Wall - much of which is still standing. Standing proudly at the head of a rocky ridge and surrounded on three sides by water is the  magnificent Pembroke castle. It is one of the finest and best preserved Norman Castles in the country. It is easy to see why Pembroke was declared a conservation area in 1977. In the town you will find plenty of local traditional Inns and taverns.
