What is particularly appealing to families is that the beaches are clean. There are six Blue flag beaches, 13 Green Coast Award beaches, and seven Rural Seaside Award beaches. It means that in terms of cleanliness and the purity of water, these beaches far surpass the mandatory guidelines.

There's also plenty to do for all the family with events, attractions and outdoor activities all set in beautiful scenery. This includes Blue Flag beaches, Llanddwyn Island with its magical charm and legendary Welsh history, Beaumaris Castle, Anglesey Oyster Festival (every October) exploring the surreal lunar landscape of Copper Mountain and walking the 125 mile Anglesey Coastal Path. 

Other must do's include visiting Bryn Celli Ddu's stone-age burial chamber and the longest established Gallery in Wales at Oriel Tegfryn Art Gallery; taking a tour of Plas Newydd's elegant house and Llynnon Mill - the only working Wind Mill in Wales.
