Walking Southern Rhinog, Snowdonia

RhinogThis Snowdonia walk takes you from Dyffryn Ardudwy to the summits of Y Llethr and Diffwys on the southern part of the Rhinog mountains. 

You will be rewarded with some of the best and most varied views in Southern Snowdonia, including a superb view across the Mawddach estuary to Cadair Idris. In addition there are many areas of water which add interest to the walk. 

11.5 miles in length, this lengthy circuit of the southern Rhinogs is graded as moderate to hard and offers a great day in the hills. The peaks of Diffwys and Y Llethr are known for their greener and less rugged character when compared with the rugged northern Rhinogs.
