Beaches on the North Wales Coast
Llandudno lies between the Irish sea and River Conwy in North Wales. The famous Great Orme and Little Orme can be seen either side of this beautiful bay, which has also been awarded a Tidy Britain Seaside award.
The Llandudno Victorian Pier is definitely a must see as the longest pier in Wales (2,995 feet long) and as voted ‘The best Pier of the year’ in 2005. Here you will find a delightful traditional pier with spectacular sea views. With little quaint shops all along with a home from home café at the end of the pier for you to enjoy a traditional cup of Welsh tea and homemade cake after your leisurely stroll.
For over 125 years Donkey and Pony rides have been very popular and can be found on the North side of the beach during the summer months. The beautiful sea views, attractive and unique pier with more then enough attractions to keep the kids entertained, this popular beach is full of character and attracts families/visitors all year round.
