Description

Tasteful and attractive seafront apartment on the second floor of a Victorian townhouse, with direct access to Aberystwyth's mile long promenade and a number of delightful independent stores, pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The bright, open living area is filled with light from the large bay window and boasts views out across the bay. The modern fitted kitchen is well-equipped with everything you'll need and the inviting bedroom has been designed with comfort in mind. Elenydd perfectly blends the traditional with the modern; from the feature stone fireplace and subtle coastal themes in the living area to the contemporary fixtures and fittings in the bathroom and kitchen. Enjoy a romantic coastal retreat at this wonderful location and explore all that Aberystwyth has to offer.

Aberystwyth is on the west coast of Wales, equidistant to the cathedral city of St Davids and the surfers' haven of Aberdaron at the western tip of the Llyn Peninsula. Within the town, discover Aberystwyth Castle or take a walk up Pen Dinas Hill to take a closer look at the 1850s monument, erected as a memorial to the first Duke of Wellington. At the northern end of Aberystwyth promenade, rising dramatically from the sea, Constitution Hill offers stunning views of the town, Cardigan Bay, and on a clear day, 26 mountain peaks spanning much of the length of Wales. To reach these spectacular views you can either walk or travel by train on the longest funicular electric cliff railway in Britain, which has been transporting visitors to the summit since opening in 1896.

Reviews

The apartment was well-designed, comfortable and in a great location. It was quiet in the evenings. The parking space was a bonus, though not suitable for a large car. We liked the fact that we were given an entry code rather than a key.

Mrs D,

This is a lovely apartment in a great location - we loved the sea view and the proximity to local amenities. It has been refurbished beautifully and is extremely well kitted out - the welcome pack was also a very nice touch. There was more than ample storage space, and we appreciated having a parking space.

Mr C,

With very caring owners, this apartment was spotless, bright, well furnished and a joy to return to after a long day walking!

Mrs F,

Beautiful sea view apartment fully equipped with everything you could possibly need .

Mrs M,

This really is a perfect property, ideally located overlooking the Promenade. The views are magnificent and an ideal location to sit and admire the view, or read, in the window seat, whatever the weather. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, and has the advantage of its own private parking space. Balancing the location, views and comfort, I would suggest that this is the best apartment in Aberystwyth.

Mr R,

I want to repeat it, we just had a wonderful and perfect stay!

Mr B,

Very good apartment .Location excellent .Lovely beaches near and great walks .Good restaurants .

Mrs H,

excellent view on see side optinal location

Mr F,

Perfect apartment in a great location.

Mr B,

A delightful apartment, very stylish and cosy with panaramic views of the sea yet within easy walking distance of the town centre. Furnishing, fittings and equipment of a high standard. The instruction booklet for all the major appliances was very clear which made everything easier to use. The welcome basket contained useful items and we enjoyed the pack of ground coffee which was a nice touch. Despite some disappointing weather we had a lovely break. Thank you

Mr M,

Fantastic apartment with wonderful sea views. 34 steps up. Aberystwyth is v interesting.

Rev B,

Fantastic views, Great Location for the beach and town Plenty good eating places in walking distance

Mr W,

Excellent location right on the sea front within easy reach of the town, but just far enough out to be a quite get away.

Mr P,

Apartment very comfortable and warm in February. The location suited us well as it's close to all amenities. Fantastic views from the living room window. However, if you have a long or wide car you will not be able to use the parking space if the other parking space is being used as it's very tight. Okay for small car.

Mrs H,

Tasteful Decor, restful colours. Wonderful views of the ever changing sea & even the Starling murmurations from the bay window. Great place for a winter break.

Mrs F,

A lovely apartment. Very clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The goodies that were left for us was a very nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks

Mrs M,

A lovely apartment right on Aberystwyth’s prom with easy access to the town. The apartment is immaculate and has everything you need for a great holiday including a great window seat for people watching and seeing the changing sea and weather . We’ll definitely book again.

Mr F,

What a fabulous apartment! We love visiting Aberystwyth and have now found the perfect place to stay. Thanks

Past Customer,

I chose this place to challenge myself. The goal was to disconnect form the world because I wanted to spend some quality time with myself. My phone has been on plane mode for 4 days. No calls, no social media, no contact with anybody. Just me, my thoughts and a ton of books. It has been the best time i've had for many years. I have finally been able to take care of myself. The view form the window amazing and walking by the beach and seeing the sea was magnificent. I'd like to thank you for giving me the chance to reconnect with myself. All the best

Maciej K,

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. We really appreciate all the thoughtful touches (welcome basket, hot water bottle, blankets, scrabble). We loved the decor aswell, made the place feel homely. Place was perfect to spend the day in, viewing storm Eunice! Wonderful. Thank you

Miss Sara B,

Staying in Aberystwyth was great! The warm, comfortable apartment with stunning views over the sea was absolutely the best. We did long walks and enjoyed every day. We are a Swiss couple travelling around Wales for 5 weeks. We would be delighted to come back. Many thanks

Previous Customer,

Perfect location, the view form the window seat was perfect for my early morning cup of tea. We enjoyed our daily walk along the prom and also visited New Quay and Aberdovey. The steam train to Devils' Bridge is a must and well worth the money

Mr Gary O,

What a lovely town Aberystwyth is. We've enjoyed walking along the front and pottering around the town. Lots of lovely independent shops. As recommended in the book, we ate at Baravin and thoroughly enjoyed it. On our way home today we are going to explore Constitution Hill. We had a drink in the pub to the right of the flat, Glengower last night and liked the look of it so have booked to have lunch there today. Lots of real ales and friendly staff

Past Customer,

I came to Aberystwyth to spend some time with family and friends in Wales. This beautiful apartment overlooking the bay has everything including a glorious view of the bay at night. There is plenty to do locally. The walks both along the coast and inland are spectacular. An easy walk to the town centre has everything you need for a longer stay in the way of shopping, with lovely bars and restaurants too. I have enjoyed my stay and hope I will come again next year. I have been here for 2 weeks.
