Description

Set on a smallholding near Aberaeron this pet-friendly West Wales cottage is over 200 years old. Set directly opposite the farm house this cottage is a great base to explore the nearby coastline of Cardigan Bay including the resorts of Aberaeron and New Quay. This can be the ideal place to relax by the woodburner after an eventful day walking the wild Welsh hills or enjoying family fun on the beaches nearby.

Situated deep in the Ceredigion countryside, you can guarantee you'll get a peaceful holiday here but there ar also plenty of great places to visit nearby. A 20 minutes' drive towards the coast will get you to the pretty Georgian town of Aberaeron, full of colour, fantastic eateries, some of which have views of the harbour, and lovely independent shops. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy delicious food or an ice cream, take a walk along the Wales Coast Path whilst admiring the glistening sea, or get on a boat and spot some friendly bottlenose dolphins. Head inland and you'll come to the historic market town of Tregaron which is a gateway to the Cambrian Mountains. All amenities are available here too, and instead of a walk along the coast, you can take a walk along parts of the River Brennig which flows right through the town. A visit to the Tregaron Red Kite Centre and Museum is a must, and if you'd like to see the Red Kites, head up to Cors Caron Nature Reserve. Other great places to visit that the whole family will enjoy include Llanerchaeron, near Aberaeron - a magnificent Georgian Villa with a walled garden, a farmyard and wildlife to spot, Fantasy Farm Park near Llanrhystud or you can visit beaches such as the one in Llanrhystud, Llanon or New Quay to name just a few that are situated along the beautiful Cardigan Bay. The location will certainly suit everyone.

Aberaeron is only 6 miles away from this pet-friendly West Wales cottage with the university town of Aberystwyth some 13 miles to the North. Aberystwyth is another family friendly seaside resort. A firm family favourite is the Fantasy Farm park This attraction is only 2 miles away and includes animals, nature trails, rodeo area, go carts, boating lake and much more.
