Reviews

We have stayed in few different cottages but this one was by far the best it was spotlessly clean

Mrs W,

We have been to this property a few times now and highly recommend it. It’s very comfortable and in an ideal location even in winter

Mr D,

Nice house for a few people and good level of equipment. Owner very friendly and communicated well. Excellent location - 8 minutes from Newton beach.

Mr H,

We have had a lovely time staying in Tegeirian , we were expecting a wet week but the weather was more than kind to us and Daisy our cockapoo loved the dog friendly beach in Newton { but we would also like to let people know that dogs are not allowed on the beach from May to the end of September on Trecco Bay and Porthcawl beach} and she also enjoyed all the attention from the local bar staff especially in The Jolly Sailor, The Ancient Briton is another lovely pub providing live music on Sunday afternoon from 4pm - 6pm it was a beautiful afternoon everyone sitting on the walls of the village green enjoying the sunshine and the live entertainment of a lovely singer called Theresa Day. The owners Stephen & Catriona are very friendly and helpful and should be proud of their spotlessly clean holiday home we can't wait to holiday here again Diolch yn fawr

Mrs J,

Good location for us as meeting up with family in Newton. Handy for the beach which unlike a lot is dog friendly all year round. Not far to shops like Bargain Booze, which sells frozen veg in bags the right size for the fridge freezer box, and the Co op. The Jolly Sailor Pub and the Ancient Briton pub both take dogs and you can sit on the benches or wall around the village green if your dog doesn't like being inside. The Globe Inn is also in walking distance and takes dogs in the bar area if you want a meal inside. Tegeirion has a well equipped kitchen if you want to cook but there are good take-aways in Porthcawl that will deliver. Plenty of space in the lounge with a very large T.V. and the garden is dog proof.

Mrs G,

Comfortable and compacted accommodation great position for dog friendly beach and sand dunes.

Mr N,

We had the most wonderful stay at Tegeirian, the house was beautifully clean and equipped, and we couldn't have hoped for a better location - literally out of the garden gate and on to the dunes. This house really felt like a home from home and we will definitely be returning now we have found this little gem. The owners were really helpful and stayed in touch and gave lots of helpful tips for the area.

Mrs U,

The house was immaculate. It was well positioned as access to the dunes and the beach was through the back garden gate. The beach was a five minutes walk away. The house was well equipped with everything one could possibly need. There was even provision for canine visitors, again everything that could possibly e needed. Just bring dog and food. The back garden was completely enclosed so safe to let the dog roam outside. We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this house to other potential holiday makers.

Mrs G,

We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren. The location is perfect, we were able to walk to the beach and explore the dunes. The house is well stocked and was perfect for our needs

Mr D,
