Reviews

The memory we made at The Cottage is just in simple words ...priceless. Jane made sure right from the start that we would have a very pleasant time at her cottage. We had a lovely welcome basket full of treats and even something for my puppy. That really touched our hearts. The Cottage was in pristine condition and we had absolutely everything we needed there. Only had to buy fresh food. Kitchen was super well equipped and there was also a coffee and hot chocolate machine which my kids enjoyed in the mornings. The Cottage was very spacious and clean and super cozy ....in simple words just a beautiful well maintained home. The views around The Cottage were just unreal and I found exactly what I was searching for ...bliss and peace. Very close to Pontedarvey so extremely convenient for food and goodies shopping. If you are looking to escape the madness of this world but yet be close enough to humanity then this Cottage is the ideal place. I will definitely be going back there again as I left a tiny bit of my heart there. Jane ...no other words for you ...just simply THANK YOU.

Mr Da C,

5* accommodation, absolutely wonderful place to stay, fabulous views and an excellent welcome pack. Thank you for a super holiday.

Mrs C,

Excellent, I cannot find any faults, the location was outstanding. The cottage is so well-equipped. We had a lovely Holiday.

Mrs B,

Cottage situated in a quiet location, ideal for peaceful holidays and walking with dogs direct from the cottage. Patio area for relaxing and two fields located at the rear of the cottage, also idea for dogs to roam about. Facilities very good and the owner, Jayne was available should she be needed. Downhill walk along the lane into Pontardawe, approximately 20 minutes, a little longer coming back. Rossellis Coffee House welcomes dogs. There are a small amount of shops including a butchers and bakery. Butchers Arms public house welcomed dogs and the meal was very good. Larger shops available should you need them also. Very enjoyable holiday and would definitely recommend to friends.

Mrs S,

Excellent cottage with everything anyone could want. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Weather wasn't too good so we could not make use of the barbeque, patio and sun house but the dog loved the field to run in and even got a chance to chase off a fox. The owner had provided a lovely welcome pack for us and the dog and was very pleasant and welcoming. Wonderful find and great for exploring the Gower Peninsula as well as other nearby locations.

Mrs P,

We chose this cottage for its location and the fact that it has a downstairs en-suite bedroom and is also dog friendly. It more than exceeded our expectations. A peaceful location with wonderful views. The cottage had everything we needed and the welcome hamper was a nice surprise, including the wine and dog treats! The whole place was clean and tastefully decorated. We made good use of the barbecue and the summer house during our stay, the weather was very kind to us. The cottage made a great base for sightseeing and we would love to return in the future.

Mrs W,

We had a lovely time in this imaginatively converted barn. Wish it had been longer. It was very comfortable, and well-appointed. The bedrooms are quite compact, due to the design of the accommodation, and the beds a bit small for someone on the larger size. However, it's not easy to find a holiday property which has 3 bedrooms, one being ground floor, each with ensuite, and which accepts 2 dogs, so we were very lucky to find this lovely place. I was blissfully comfortable in my bed. The welcome pack was very generous and a lovely surprise. The setting is idyllic, with lovely views and walks. All in all, we'd love to visit again.

Mrs F,

Excellent property in a nice location for local attractions.

Mr T,

The cottage is well equipped and very clean. Lovely view and perfect for walking our dog. We had a great time in this peaceful setting and will be booking again later this year.

Mrs F,

The property is beautifully situated with lovely surrounding views of the Countryside Ideal for those who love to walk and be outdoors. It is very well equipped and very cosy even on a very wet and chilly end of Oct ! A very nice welcome pack awaits all who visit and is a lovely touch. The owners have gone out of their way in terms of making the place a home from home and we would certainly return again.

Mrs T,

We were really pleased with our accommodation, everything you need for a perfect holiday. Beautiful scenery, peaceful, a good place to relax and unwind. It was so helpful to have the basics and extras provided, with a lovely welcome pack. Great hosts. I would love to return again.

Mrs J,

Great location for the coast, Beacon Beacons or just exploring the locality. Excellent cottage in a very quiet location, with open views down into the valley.

Mr P,

Our cottage was spotless and had everything we might need. Access to the farm fields from the back door was perfect for our dog. The owner was welcoming and thoughtful, whilst unobtrusive, and provided a superb welcome pack that even included treats for the dog. We get together annually for a family break and everyone agreed this was the best property to date. We hope to come back at some point and would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

Mr Martin A,
