Reviews

The cottage was nice and well equipped. Very quiet location

Mr T,

I felt peaceful and safe staying alone at Y Golomen, with the friendly and helpful owners nearby. It's on the northern edge of Barry, close to all the benefits of this seaside town, including the supermarket just up the road, but is also very quiet and has beautiful countryside views of the Vale of Glamorgan.

Ms R,

So peaceful, amazing view secure parking . Great design, furnishings and a well equipped kitchen. Lots of places to visit near by went see Foo Fighters in Cardiff got there and to the gig in less than 30 mins.

Mrs S,

Exceptional high standard property, quiet location with excellent views and easily accessible.

Mr W,

Had a nice peaceful ten days staying at the cottage.

Mrs W,

Lovely cottage which formed a base for my elderly mum and I to visit family for a few days. We had a few questions before booking as my mum's mobility is not great these days and these were answered honestly and efficiently. Perfect location, only wish we had a bit more to time to explore the surrounding countryside rather than just a few days.

Mrs M,

We enjoyed our stay very much. The property was perfectly located for catching up with family in Cardiff and enjoying the beautiful coastal walks. A cosy cottage for returning to after days out.

Mrs M,

This cottage is the perfect balance between bucolic charm and modern comfort and convenience. Overlooking a tranquil vista of fields, hedgerows and rolling hills, the location is ideal. Close to amenities like the supermarket around the corner, the airport a few minutes drive away, and the many attractions of Cardiff and its environs, it's also private, secluded and peaceful. Tina and Christopher were great hosts and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed. In short, we had a heavenly stay.

Mr L,
