It boasts a couple of restaurants and local pubs which are well known for their warm and friendly. There is also Fish and Chips available down near the beach and these come highly recommended. The beach and also the nearby Scott Bay beach are popular with families. Llansteffan was traditionally a fishing village but is also the Village on which Dylan Thomas is said to have based on 'Under Milk Wood'
