Reviews

We really enjoyed our stay at Y Felin which was very comfortable and clean.

Mr M,

This cottage is wonderful, just love it.

Mrs B,

This is our second time at this cottage excellent location breathtaking views very tranquil five star through and through will hope return very soon.

Mr S,

We had such a wonderful stay at Y Felin - perfect in every way. We arrived to the most generous and delicious welcome pack which we enjoyed through the week. The cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully furnished and decorated to provide a really lovely comfortable and cosy space to relax in. We particularly appreciated the location and the peace and quiet with beautiful scenery and walks from the door. We had some unusually warm weather but by the end of the week it was chilly enough to enjoy the woodburner in the evenings which made it even cosier. It was very hard to leave at the end of the holiday and we hope to return; a truly special place - thank you.

Ms S,

Beautiful comfortable cottage. Everything worked well, and with ease, lovely and clean. You feel the owners have really thought about the comfort and need of guests. We have stayed in quite a few holiday cottages, and this is in our top 3, cleanliness is important to us & we couldn’t fault any area. We even had a fresh dressing gown each. The welcome pack was like nothing we have experienced before, and such delicious products. Thankyou so much to Gwen & Daffyd for sharing this beautiful place & going above and beyond. We will definitely be booking again.

Mr R,

Very well equipped cottage in a fantastic location.

Mrs S,

This is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location. It has all appliances you could want or need, beautifully fitted out and so homely yet modern throughout. I really could not recommend this cottage, or it's owners more highly. The welcome basket was amazing as well.

Mrs K,

One of the loveliest cottages we have stayed in. Lovely location, very peaceful, enjoyed wandering down to our own stretch of the river and walks straight out from the house. Beautifully and comfortably furnished, and as others have mentioned a very good welcome hamper. And the cafe in Dinas Mawddwy deserves a recommendation too.

Ms B,

This cottage was FABULOUS. The generosity of the welcome pack was so overwhelming that I was close to tears. Truly a generous cottage in every way

Mrs L,

We had a lovely holiday apart from the weather it rained most days We would highly recommend this property and hope to return in the future. .

Mrs B,

A beautiful and well-equipped cottage in a lovely location. We loved our week here and didn't want to leave. It was so peaceful, just the sound of sheep and the river, with fantastic walks directly from the cottage. It's remote, so take food with you. The coffee shop in the village does excellent cake!

Mrs P,

My family and I have stayed here several times before - and there's a reason why we keep coming back - it's that good! The owner always provides a warm welcome and contactable, the cottage is always immaculate, and the location is idyllic, so peaceful and calming. We love returning to Y Felin and hope to do so again.

Mr J,

Lovely well equipped cottage in a fantastic location hence our second visit

Mr S,

So comfortable and peaceful -such attention to detail. We came home feeling very relaxed

Mr T,

An absolutely perfect location with stunning surroundings. Photos will never do this justice. We really didn't want to leave. The owner has done a wonderful job with the property, we had everything we needed including some groceries which we weren't expecting. We couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.

Mr D,

Y Felin is a fabulous cottage in a wonderfully peaceful setting. Everything we needed was supplied and the welcome pack was the best.

Mrs M,

Perfect, the best holiday property I have stayed in. A wonderfully quiet location surrounded by beautiful countryside .

Ms T,

Well equipped cottage in a lovely setting. We spent Christmas week there and a lovely real Christmas tree provided made it feel special, as well as the festive welcome pack. Despite the stormy weather we were warm and cosy, and managed to do a couple of walks including Cader Idris. Many Thanks to Gwen.

Mrs S,

A little gem in the middle of Snowdonia. The location is magical with a running stream at the bottom of the garden, to tantalise tipping your feet in. Woolly visitors greet you most mornings with their inquisitive stares. The house is beautifully decorated with good quality furniture. We found the beds to be really comfortable and with the aga keeps the chill at bay. We would highly recommend 5 stars .
