Description
Spectacular cottage in every sense of the word. This conversion retains all its original features, including floor to ceiling arched windows, high ceilings with skylights, beams and stone walls. Add to that the tranquil, rural surroundings and the scene is set if you wish to relax and do absolutely nothing for the duration of you holiday. However, it should also be mentioned that Wales’ highest mountain (Snowdon), Greenwood Forest Park, the National Water Sports Centre for Wales and the longest zip wire in Europe are all within minutes of your doorstep, which also makes it perfect for activity holidays in Wales.
Ground Floor
New, contemporary white glossy kitchen including electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge with ice-box and microwave. Wonderful garden views, original stone walls, high beams and spotlights all combine to create a light, spacious atmosphere. Stable doors (top half glazed) open up to the rear patio area.
The beautiful living / dining area includes original beams, stone walls and large patio doors in an arched frame offering stunning countryside views and a great sense of space. These open up to the patio area and to the fields beyond. You really could sit back on the leather settees or on the patio seats and spend all day admiring and absorbing the tranquil, green surroundings. Alternatively, if you're here for activity holidays in Wales, there is no better way to end the day than to come home to a comfortable sofa with calming, extensive views. The living area also includes a Georgian dining table and a 32” wall mounted TV/DVD player.
Bedroom 1 - Light and airy double bedroom with high ceilings, original beams, stone walls and countryside views. Dressing table and plenty of storage space in the wardrobe and drawers.
Bedroom 2 - Spacious twin bedroom, again with original stone walls and beams. Includes a skylight window, large wardrobe and a chest of drawers.
Bathroom includes a bath with a shower above and a heated towel rail. Illuminated mirror, shaving point, original stone walls and recessed spot lighting.
Garden
Expansive patio area with a range of modern patio furniture, fire pits and traditional stone walls. Similar to the lounge, the views from the patio are spectacular and it’s a wonderful spot for wildlife and bird watching.
