Reviews

The owners were lovely and great communication from them. The location and cottage were perfect for our quite week away. I would highly recommend.

Mr S,

Beautiful cottage, well equipped, beds very comfortable and clean. Gorgeous views from all around, enjoyed getting up in the morning and looking at the beautiful new lambs and their mums. Had everything you could ask for. Thank you Meryl for contacting us to make sure everything was ok and that we arrived safely, also at the end of our week wishing us a safe journey home. Left it as we found it clean and tidy. We will be back for 2 weeks next time, we didn’t want to leave.

Mr E,

We had a fantastic time at the cottage, it was lovely and clean when we arrived. Also it had everything you needed for a wonderful stay. We would love to come back for another visit.

Mrs J,

Would like to thank the owners of the cottage for letting us use it ..its lovely. Great size .location and scenery. Beautiful.

Mr S,

The cottage was absolutely lovely, we didn't want to come home. We could not fault at all.

Miss D,

Property was nice and clean. Nice quiet location. Made good use of the pool table.

Mr H,

This was our 2nd visit to this beautiful cottage. It felt like coming home. The cottage is well equipped relaxing and comfortable with beautiful views. And our hosts were great they left a lovely welcome package. I hope we are able to go again next year.

Mrs B,

After staying at Glan Donau for the second time, we will definitely be back. The location is splendid with wonderful country views and we just loved watching the sheep out the back. Birds on the feeder were splendid with visiting woodpeckers daily. The cleanliness of the house was fantastic with everything you might need in the kitchen and bathroom. The owners were extremely helpful after we left when my son discovered he had left some clothes at the house by accident. Certainly went above and beyond. Can't recommend this bungalow highly enough, we will definitely be back.

Mrs G,

This is the second time we have stayed here, really love the cottage and a great location for day trips.

Miss H,

Great location, very peaceful and close enough to Bala for shops, restaurants, etc. Bungalow had all facilities required with amazing views out back.

Mrs S,

What a lovely bungalow,we really enjoyed our weeks stay here. This bungalow had everything you could want ,very well equipped. The pool table and darts board was a big hit for us. Such a peaceful place lovely to wake up to woodpeckers on the bird feed and being surrounded by sheep… would highly recommend Glan Donau

Mrs P,

Very comfortable bungalow, if you want peace and quiet its the perfect place.

Mr B,

we absolutely loved our stay

Mr P,

WOW what a beautiful place to stay. To pick a few things to give special mention to is very difficult however, super comfy beds, fabulous shower and a lovely peaceful location! We spent hours watching the lambs and birds literally at the back door. We had great fun with the dart board and pool table. Some beautiful places to visit - we definitely want to return

Miss C,

Lovely cottage, very clean, modern, with everything you need, and a games room with darts and pool. Our children loved playing those. Great location, views across fields full of sheep, bird feeder in garden with woodpecker visiting regularly. You'd need a car as nothing is near, but there is lots to do within an hour's drive. We loved it and would definitely recommend.

Mrs H,

The cottage had everything needed for a weekend away, comfortable, good facilities and excellent views of the hills with lots of wildlife

Mr S,

Great place to stay clean tidy and warm ,will be returning again. Not very happy though with the £25 non returnable extra cost for breakages,The company Originalcottages already take a lot from the customer for booking fees, don’t get to greedy Original Cottages or you will lose customers.

Mrs J,

We had a lovely time both in and out of the cottage. It’s a stunning area to visit with plenty to see. But it was so nice to stay in and enjoy the views too, especially all of the birds that come to visit the bird feeder.

Mrs M,

Very quite comfortable accommodation with plenty of creature comforts. Everything you could possibly need has been taken care of a real treat home from home. Just turn up and enjoy

Mr B,

Absolutely fantastic stay! The home was everything we could’ve asked for - warm, comfortable and with a well-stocked kitchen! Great location with many day trip possibilities but also just a fabulous spot to relax and watch the sheep. Really good for birdwatching too, a very busy birdfeeder!

Miss R,

Stayed here for a girly weekend. Perfect..Was peaceful and fabulous . The views were amazing . Even the wifi was perfect considering the location .

Miss H,
