Reviews

This property is ideal to celebrate a special holiday. The lodge is well equipped and is lovely inside. The pictures don’t do it justice the views from this property are spectacular.

Mrs S,

Great property in a beautiful location. Abersoch has a lovely holiday vibe and there is lots to see and do in the area, including beautiful coast walks and beaches. The cabin is nice inside and out, and felt very private, it being at the top of the farm. Fantastic views across the bay due to the height of the property. Great to see all the activity on the farm especially the young calves and their mums (but be far enough away not to hear it). Good wifi connection. Walk into Abersoch approximately 1.5 km (20 mins walk) and plenty of taxis in Abersoch if walking not your thing. We love the Llyn Penninsular, and will be returning again very soon, and would definitely consider this property again if it is available at the time.

Mrs M,

A fantastic property in a great location, with excellent hosts - we look forward to staying again. Can’t fault - 5 star review.

Mr C,

Gorwel is a wonderful cabin with fantastic views and the hot tub is a bonus. Beds are super comfy and the kitchen is really well equipped. Would highly recommend!

Mrs B,

Map

Set in an elevated position, this luxury log cabin North Wales commands fantastic sea and country views of the Llyn Peninsula. Situated one mile from the village of Abersoch and only 10 minutes walk from the nearest sandy beach, it’s the perfect location for your holiday on the ‘Welsh Riviera’.

Abersoch, although small, is well supplied with numerous good eating places and shops. It also has a wonderful Blue Flag award winning sandy beach and hosts many national boating events each year. A mile away, the picturesque village of Llangian has a 6th Century Church.

The Lleyn Peninsula, where the Welsh language and way of life still flourish, is renowned for its beautiful beaches and water sport. With nearly 100 miles of stunning coastline, an array of hills of varying height inland plus the majestic mountains of Snowdonia on your doorstep, it’s also a great place to come for a walking holiday.

Take a boat trip to Bardsey Island, a former site of religious pilgrimage, try your hand at fishing, horse-riding or golf and enjoy go-karting, ten-pin bowling, archery etc at Glasfryn Parc. Plas Glyn-y-Weddw, a magnificent Manor with galleries, beautiful gardens and tea room with sea views is well worth a visit, whilst Ffestiniog Railway, castles and the Italian village of Portmeirion are all nearby.
