Description

Enjoy breath-taking uninterrupted views of Moel Famau, framed by rolling green hills, from the comfort of the private wood-fired hot tub at this wonderful wooden glamping pod on the corner of a quiet working farm. The open plan design provides a bright, spacious living area while the exposed woodwork and curved ceiling add a cosier touch. The functional kitchenette and shared use of a restored 1930's railway carriage with laundry facilities provide everything you'll need for a relaxing rural escape to the North Wales countryside. There is also a designated bike wash area and lock up for those making the most of the fantastic mountain biking this area has to offer.

Cook up a storm on the gas BBQ whilst admiring the beautiful landscape and gaze at the stars from the private courtyard on a clear night. The Red Lion Hotel is just 1 mile from the farm and comes highly recommended for its Indian cuisine and traditional pub food. Slightly further afield is the historic market town of Ruthin some 5 miles away where you'll find a fabulous array of boutique shops, local cafes and a lively modern arts scene. Reviews

The pod and views were amazing. Lots of little touches that made our stay an enjoyable one.

Mr F,

Beautiful location Perfect getaway The hosts have thought of everything for guests with extra little touches such as a Welsh hamper with eggs, jam and Welsh cakes along with a nice bottle of fizz in the fridge which was very much appreciated. Owner gave us a lovely warm welcome, and couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend

Miss F,

Amazing Holiday! Amazing place! Amazing property! Amazing owners! It was truly a dream Holiday. Pets friendly! I really enjoyed it! I want to recommend everyone this property and place! I am sure that you love it! Thank you and see you next time definitely!

Mrs S,

Absolutely lovely place, we really enjoyed the few nights away we had and kept on finding little touches that made it so much more than a simple hotel room. Angharad was a lovely host who came out to find us when we got lost which I thought was so kind. We'll certainly be back

Mr B,

I booked this on a whim for a weekend away in Wales and I couldn't be happier with my decision. The property is in a wonderfully beautiful part of Wales, and well kept with guest needs clearly considered by the owner. The log burning hot tub was delightful, and the cabin itself was a well planned space with everything you could need for a short stay. Being able to take my dog was exactly what I wanted, and there was a space we could easily fit his bed in out of the way. The location itself is quite isolated, but there is plenty around within a relatively short drive, and iconic areas such as snowdonia and anglesey are easy day trips. Be prepared for narrow, winding, and steep country roads, but the scenery is absolutely worth the effort of driving there. The owner Angharad was a brilliant host, and very accommodating - we were there during lambing season and lucky enough to meet two newborn lambs after I asked if it would be possible. My partner and I would both love to come back here at a later date, so if you're considering it I would strongly recommend it!

Mr R,

Wow... what an amazing little hideaway! We booked last minute for a minimoon after getting married. It was what we wanted and more. Amazing views and so peaceful. We will definitely be back. We love Ruthin and the surrounding area!
