Reviews

A fantastic house! The owners have gone above & beyond to make sure their guests have everything they would need inside & outside. Welcome packs are extremely generous & the children in our party loved the chocolates they also loved the kittens who followed them around all the time ( probably because they fed them! ) Had a brilliant short break!

Mrs H,

What a cottage!! Just perfect in every way, the way the outdoor space has been designed means it can even be used if the weather isn't on your side. The kitchen was so well equipped, we baked on a rainy day and had everything we needed. Plenty of fridge and freezer space. Towels and robes provided for the hot tub as well as towels in the bedrooms for showering, so lots of space saved when packing. WiFi was great and the area was lovely and quiet, I bet we heard no more than 2 cars a day. Hot tub well maintained and treated every couple of days (early in the morning so no bother to us at all). There's a Morrisons 10 minutes away in the car which was very handy. The hosts were just lovely and we look forward to coming back again

Mrs M,

A delightful property set in a rural location, with amazing views. We were a party of 4 generations from 8 to 81 and everyone was catered for. A down stairs bedroom and bathroom was ideal for my elderly mother whilst there was lots of outdoor space along with games for my grandson. A very generous welcome pack greeted us when we first arrived, along with a picnic hamper for the younger members. The kitchen had everything we needed to make an evening meal after a day spent exploring the local area, after which a relax in the hot tub was a must.

Mrs C,

Brilliant week. Fantastic property with everything catered for. Beautiful location. Would highly recommend

Mr B,

Tan y Garth is a truly beautiful place, we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be back! There were so many little touches that made our stay special, such as the hosts leaving us bread, butter, drinks and snacks when we arrived, there were bath towels and hot tub towels, and even robes! We were so impressed, it had everything we could have thought of and more. The beds were comfortable, the showers were hot and the pressure was good. The hot tub was really roomy, and the hooks to hang towels up on was a bonus. Best of all, the views were stunning and made our weekend so relaxing. I would highly recommend Tan y Garth and will be looking to book again next year for a longer stay.

Mrs W,

The cottage was amazing, had everything you could need both for use inside the cottage and outside if doing BbQ or just enjoying the weather. Ample space, great facilities and comfortable. There was a lovely welcome pack to keep us going on arrival with cakes, goodies for the children, tea, coffee, milk, butter. There were also adequate towels and robes for the whole party to use the hot tub.

Mrs T,

Great accommodation. Well equipped and appointed with plenty of entertainment for the kids. The cottage is in a great location with easy access to Denbigh and the North Wales coast and west to Snowdonia. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Mr M,

Had a great time. Well thought out holiday cottage. It was great to enjoy the undercover hot tub and bbq. Kids loved the garden and play area.

Mr E,

The owners of the cottage went above and beyond with their welcome pack and little touches for your welcome. The cottage had everything you would need in the kitchen and plenty of space for the children to run around. The hot tub and outside space was amazing….just didn’t have the weather to appreciate it. The children found the fairy garden just as we were getting to leave and they loved it!! Directions given got us straight to the cottage, just had to negotiate the bumpy track and the large pool that had collected in the lane. Perfectly suited in the area we needed to be for a family get together and to visit the things we wanted to whilst there!!

Miss A,

Very well equipped and welcoming cottage in a lovely location

Dr Hall Y,

Beautiful property in a nice remote location and not too far from the nearest town. Had 7 of us stay here and it was very spacious and relaxing. Plenty of room for at least 3 cars to park within property gates. Great communication from the host. Overall really enjoyed the stay and found it to be great value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Mr W,

Incredible views from this beautiful property. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure everything is perfect. Best welcome pack we have seen. Outside areas have everything you could need (e.g. ready to go gas and charcoal BBQs), nice evening spent in the hot tub, playing pool or both! The tranquillity and proximity to cows, sheep, birds was also enjoyed by us all.

Mr M,

Easy process for booking. Very enjoyable stay at Tan-Y-Garth.

Mrs Julie C,

Me and my friends had the best holiday we could have ever wished for, and this starts with Tan Y Garth where we stayed. Fantastic service before we even arrived and when we arrived the home was brilliant. All the facilities, the location : perfect. What a stay
