Reviews

Lovely spacious house, well equipped and comfortable. Well placed for exploring the local area.

Ms W,

Lovely comfortable farmhouse in a great location!

Mr B,

The farm house is an ideal blend of modern living and country escapism. The location gives you the peace and quiet to relax, but only being 10/15 minutes drive from the local town/ shops. With dedicated parking to the side of the property, it comes with a lovely simple outdoor area to front of the house, giving views of the orchard and farm fields beyond. Inside is well appointed with simple up-to-date décor & furniture. The kitchen is a well equipped, with a high quality finish, made good use of the fridge/ freezer and washing machine. Consistent, powerful water pressure, was ideal for invigorating showers after long, tiring days out. The big double bed was comfortable and added great sleep. Other plus points included: Having plenty of towels/ bed linen available, having a selection of board games on hand as an alternative to TV and having plenty of tourist leaflets on hand to help plan days out. Completely satisfied and pleased with this property.

Mr W,

The old farmhouse was a wonderful property to stay in. It is very spacious for the price range. The kitchen was very well equipped. There was a lovely dining room. And large comfortable lounge. Upstairs was a large king-size bedded room and across the landing a twin bedroom. And a lovely bathroom ... The views of the farm was good with some sights of sheep and cows in the further away fields. The location was excellent to access all locations. We went to castles and houses owned by the national trust and they were in close proximity. We had a very relaxed and refreshing stay. Thank you so much...

Mrs G,

It is a lovely quiet location but doesn’t feel remote as the owner of the property lives at the farm close by.

Ms R,

This property is lovely and in a quiet location on a farm. It provides all you need for a relaxing break. It is also close to many interesting places to visit from castles to country house and the infamous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct & Canal World Heritage Site.
