Holiday Cottages in Rhayader

Rhayader is a traditional Mid Wales market town on the river Wye.  The Elan Valley lies above Rhayader and is great for walking, fishing, cycling and watersports. The town also has a red kite feeding centre where you see these amazing birds close up. The feeding centre also provides a lot of information about the birds including the story of they have floruished since becoming a protected species. Rhayader has a seclecton of local shops, restraunts , pubs , cafes and its own lesiure centre.

Between 1839 and 1844 Rhayader player a key rols in the Rebecca Riots , while it was a key staging point in the coach road from London to West Wales.  These days it is a great  location for a Holiday Cottage with easy access to the West Wales coast, Cambrian Mountains and the border towns.
