Reviews

The owners have put together an absolutely beautiful barn conversion cottage, with a level of attention to detail that I haven't seen anywhere else I've stayed before. There was so much consideration and thought put into everything, from the extensive amenities provided, to the welcome snacks & milk on arrival. Everything about the stay felt very luxurious, even down to details like the silky bedsheets that made it feel like a hotel. Everything was beautifully decorated, well maintained, and cleaned to a faultless standard. The area is very quiet, peaceful and tranquil. We had a visit from the adorable Winnie the dog, one of the friendliest dogs we've ever met! As everyone else has said in the reviews, even though owners live in the adjacent property, they are very respectful of their guests' privacy and they never intrude unless they are needed for something. We felt very fortunate to stay in such a lovely place and wouldn't hesitate to come back again.

Miss J,

Beautiful spot. So peaceful. That is unless you count birdsong. Then it's very noisy

Mr G,

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was peaceful and relaxing.

Mr C,

This was by far the best Holiday let we have had for a very long time, from the warm welcome from Gareth & Lilian to our departing they were very keen to ensure our break was just what we wanted, and when the power went off (heavy storm) Gareth was at the door with an arm full of candles torch and battery fairy lights... we look forward to going again in the summer "hopefully without the storm" 10/10

Mrs H,

Mr H,

The owners where most welcoming and nothing was to much trouble for them. Also they gave a lovely welcome pack, The cottage was a barn conversion that was done to the highest specs, warm, clean ,and very comfortable with every thing you needed. Fridge freezer, microwave dishwasher cooker and toaster. Would defiantly book again.

Mr D,

Absolutely superb property and very welcoming owners.

Mr W,

What a beautiful and comfortable cottage. We recieved a warm welcome from Gareth and Lillian and there were some lovely treats to start the holiday off. There were all the necesaary supplies for the week. The beds were comfortable as were the sofas and there was plennty of room to sit - so often we find a cotage for 4 has only 4 places on sofas whereas this has two goos size, comfy sofas and 2 armchairs. The bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot water and a great shower. Bird lovers will be treated to many garden visitors. There is much to see in the area and so many good walks, great food and nearby beaches - depending on what you enjoy. We had a very restful holiday and although the cottage is next to the owners house they are very respectful of your privacy yet equally willing to be of help if needed. We would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

Mrs B,

An immaculately presented, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean cosy cottage with many original features - a real home from home! This is easily one of the best holiday cottages we ever stayed in. The owners - friendly and helpful in every way - have made every effort to equip this to such a high standard. There is also loads of storage space (including in the bathroom!), plenty of coathangers, a hairdryer, a clothes airer, a coffee machine etc. etc. We were also given a very warm welcome with a cake and biscuits, tea, coffee and milk readily provided - very much appreciated after hours of travelling! This was our first ever visit to Wales and this cottage, in its quiet location, is the perfect spot from which to start exploring this beautiful country.

Mr J,

The cottage itself was lovely owners could not be more friendly

Mrs S,

This cottage is beautiful. It's in a tiny village and is so peaceful. Lillian and Gareth have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I rarely sleep well on beds other than my own but the bed was so comfortable. The garden is beautiful and you can relax under the permanent metal framed gazebo with it's lovely table and chairs. Would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and it's a brilliant base for attractions and on the edge of the national park.

Mrs T,

The cottage was superb in everyday,as we're hosts Gareth and Lillien, the best we have stayed in by far

Mr H,

Lovely, well equipped property.Very clean, couldn't fault it! Owners were helpful and friendly too

Mrs C,

We were met by the owners, who were lovely, showed us round and answered any questions we had. The place was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. Even though the cottage is next door to the owners they left us alone unless we wanted to talk to them. The kitchen was well equipped and modern as was the shower room and very comfortable bedroom. There was only 2 of us but the cottage has 2 double bedrooms. There is also an outside area with bbq and seating area. Really lovely. A great place to stay.

Mrs P,

Definitely the best cottage we have ever stayed in,

Mr F,

Lovely welcome, spotless house & everything in place for a restful stay

Ms D,

Lovely cottage in a quiet location…

Mrs J,

Lovely hosts who seemed to really care. Exceeded expectations.

Mr M,

The cottage was maintained to the highest standard. Anything you would require in your home was made available. The owners were fantastic hosts and nothing was to much trouble for them. Location was fantastic.

Mr W,

A well presented and comfortable cottage with delightful owners on hand if needed. Set in a quiet location but within easy reach of major towns and well placed for trips to the coast and mountains. Don’t hesitate to book
