Reviews

A most comfortable cottage with everything we needed. A most enjoyable stay.

Mr G,

The Cottage was essentially “home from home” in terms of an attractive, comfortable living/dining space and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms had lots of storage, the beds were comfortable. The whole stay at Llysfaen was peaceful, relaxing, enjoyable in a beautiful location which has to be experienced to be appreciated. If you get a chance to go on the Tractor Run don’t miss it!

Mrs E,

All in all a tremendous place to stay can easily get around the beacons from here . Very welcoming host plenty of parking and a TV that is worth watching not a tiny thing just right for the room size. The big bath was wonderful to soak my aching back in the evening . My wife also bottle fed two orphan lambs for the week which she loved . The on site Gin is well worth a try if you like your Gin

Mr M,

We were so lucky to be able to get involved with lambing with our 2 young children, 8 and 6. The kids were able to lamb a ewe (highlight of our time here!) and help with hay and water, gave a lamb some milk via bottle, transporting sheep to the field in both the tractor and the quad bike. The family were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our visit to local attractions - Dan -Yr -Ogof Caves and also organised some horse trekking at Cantref (Animal Park and Riding Centre). This is also the home of Cascave Gin and we have bought some to share with family.

Mr O,
