Reviews

Beautiful accommodation, gorgeous location. Short drive to amenities. Would stay again!

Mrs M,

Our second stay, so we knew what to expect! So well located and relaxing. Just the right size for a family of five. So spacious that you can dry all your walking gear downstairs, ready for the next day’s adventure. Couldn’t ask for more.

Mrs W,

We had a great time visiting Wales and staying at Dan y Comin. The property is lovely and spacious, well finished, looked after and clean. The host provided some great suggestions for walks and food in the local area and was a a joy to interact with (should you choose to). The property is close to many of the best walks in the National Park. Would thoroughly recommend to friends, families and dog owners alike.

Mr E,

This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. Very roomy, well equipped and furnished. Amazing ground floor bathroom! Owner very welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to staying again in the spring/summer as the only downside was 2 of the 3 days we were there were very wet!

Mrs W,

Had a wonderful break at Dan Y Comin once again. I think it was our fifth visit. Excellent for our dog. The property is pretty much all one level, it has a very secure enclosed garden and there is a local common which is great for dog walking just 1 minutes away on foot. Nice updates to the shower rooms too. Going back again at New Year!

Mr S,

A very nice property with excellent facilities. We were very impressed with the location and it was easy to explore the local area and beyond. Fully recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and pleasant experience.

Mrs M,

Hosts very helpful and accommodating. Beautiful property, very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely stay

Mr K,

Good location superb views just on the edge of the Brecon Beacons.

Mr P,

Fantastic property, beautiful location and a wonderful Hostess. We are going back! And that is the best recommendation I can give.

Mr C,

Marion the owner could not be more helpful. The cottage was lovely, immaculate and very comfortable plus in a beautiful location.

Mr Jay P,

Always a pleasure to deal with. This is the second time we have stayed at the property and absolutely love it!

Mrs Abi C,

Property was as we imagined, in a stunning setting. The owner was so helpful and welcoming. We have already booked our return.

Mrs Abi C,

Just don’t tend to recommend holidays as people wa t such different things but would if they asked.

Previous Customer,

There was plenty of information on the site. Booking was quick and easy. We were kept well-informed throughout the planning and arrival stages. There was a lovely welcome. The cottage was spacious with many comfortable features. The location was beautiful and convenient for walks, sight-seeing and great places to eat. Diolch yn fawr

Mrs Helena J,

Map

This detached holiday cottage in the Brecon Beacons is set on a smallholding near the village of Sennybridge. The surrounding countryside is spectacular with red-kites often seen swooping through the air, and the river Usk (renowned for its salmon) flows only a few hundred yards away.  In Sennybridge, there are general stores, a few pubs and a garage. The closest local pub is The White House which serves food and has a great local atmosphere.

The traditional market town of Brecon - it is great place to purchase local produce and is about 5 miles away. There is also a supermarket and many more places to eat out and enjoy. The world-renowned Royal Welsh Agricultural Show and Winter Fair are both held in Builth Wells. In recent years, Rally GB and the Tour of Britain cycle race have both passed through the area.

The Brecon Beacons National Park contains some of the most spectacular and distinctive upland formations in Southern Britain covering an area of 1347 sq km (520 sq miles). From mountains to lakes and rivers, there are numerous attractions in the area including the spectacular Ystradfellte Waterfalls, the Brecon Mountain Railway and Dan yr Ogof Caves.  The city of Cardiff is only 45-50 minutes drive away making that an ideal destination for some shopping or for many sporting, musical and cultural events that take place there every year.
