Reviews

Great location albeit you would need a car to go exploring further than the village of Aberdaron and further afield than nearby walks and available eateries. Cottage well equipped but would benefit from a cleaning review and a little bit more tlc. Overall we loved the place and would return.

Mr H,

We had a wonderful holiday here, walking the coastal path in glorious sunshine. This is a lovely very well laid out house. The views are fabulous and the communal living space wonderful. We enjoyed cooking here, with most utensils provided and really liked the fact that the tv was in a different room! We were also able to enjoy the terrace area. Beautiful bedding and towels and decent size rooms and bathrooms, with plenty of hot water for showers after a day of walking. The village of Aberdaron is less than 1 mile away and we liked the pub next to the beach, the ice cream parlour, the bakery and handy small supermarket. A great location.

Mrs L,

Overall we have enjoyed a comfortable stay in a beautiful rural location, appreciating the heated floors, the wine fridge & separate TV room. The house does deserve a little more tlc than it is currently receiving. We used the coastal paths, loved the beach at Porthor & its adjacent cafe. Can recommend the oriel Gallery in Llanbedrog which served a delicious lunch .

Mrs V,

Vert comfortable house, excellently equipped.

Mr Hunter J,

House has lots of room for larger groups. Could be cleaner and needs a bit of TLC. Can walk to Aberdaron but visiting anywhere else around a thirty minute drive. Beautiful beaches and Abersoch worth a visit. Locally the The Ship Hotel is lovely , food fab staff attentive and friendly. AVOID Gwesty Ty Newydd food and customer service awful. Pizzas amazing from Baguette on the Beach, catered for GF and on the ball re cross contamination. Ideal area for walkers and golfers.

Mr C,

Geufron is a beautiful property, set in a stunning location with panoramic views of seascape and landscapes. The accommodation was very comfortable for our party of 7 adults and 2 infants. There was plenty of indoor and outdoor space with loads of seating. The amenities were excellent. I would recommend this property for large parties without reservation.

Mr B,

Beautiful property in a stunning location with matching views. Aberdaron village is lovely and has some great cafes, pubs and eating fish and chips by the riverside is a must. Aberdarons 'getaway' location is both it's strength and weakness - as it takes a while to travel to other locations in North Wales.

Mr H,
