With the Summer holidays nearly over we’re looking ahead towards September and the Autumn. This time of year is a great time to visit Wales, where you can wonder along the beaches, head out to the hills for a walk or just relax in the surroundings of your cosy self catering cottage.
Why not head to West Wales and the coastal town of Aberystwyth? Located only 10 miles from the coast is the world famous Devil’s Bridge, with its waterfalls, 3 bridge’s and the Vale of Rheidol Narrow Gauge Railway. Llety Gwedd is a great place to base yourself for your Autumn break.
Another beautiful area to explore in West Wales is Carmarthenshire – rolling hills, gardens and castles. Base yourself at Llety’r Wennol, a real countryside retreat within an area renowned for its red kites and gold.
Just 30 minutes from the coast but set in 35 acres of stunning farm land Yr Hufenfa is a great choice of accommodation. With walks straight from the doorstep what more could you want.
And finally why not treat yourself to a break with a hot tub. Head to Aberaeron where you can sample the famous Honey Ice cream while staying at Llys yr Afon.
