What a week!
Four months ago I came up with a business idea for an online cottage holiday agency, specialising in 4 and 5 star cottages in Wales, where, wait for it – customers get a better price and property owners earn more! Since then (and with conviction!) me and my business partner have been slowly building things up… slowly, that is, until this week!
This week we’ve registered Best of Wales Ltd with Companies House, opened a business account, decided on our logo, completed the first draft of the business plan and prepared a design spec for the website designers. On top of that, we finally secured ownership of bestofwales.co.uk last week so all in all, things are coming together nicely!
First thing next week we will need to sign contracts with the company we’ve chosen to develop our website and booking system, before meeting a finance expert from Venture Wales on wednesday to go over the financial forecast and finalise the business plan ready for application.
It’s all getting very exciting and ever closer to take off – we’ll keep you updated! [:-)]
