Reviews

This is the most perfect little cottage for a getaway in Anglesey. It had everything we needed and the owners even left us some fresh milk, cheese and crackers which was a lovely surprise. The location is perfect, just a short drive from the shops, pub, and sites of Anglesey. Would definitely visit again!

Miss I,

Beautiful, well equipped cottage in a great location. Close to stunning beaches and the stunning Snowdonia National Park. The hospitality at the property was second to none and the welcome cheese pack produced on the farm was so yummy. We will definitely be back in the very near future.

Mrs M,

Good position in the centre of the island meant it was easy to visit all areas. Very friendly owner. Cheeses and Welsh cakes appreciated.

Mrs G,

This is a very sweet cottage. It has everything you need to stay for a short break, the garden area is ambivalent so probably not ideal for very small children, we walked our dog along the track leading to the cottages morning and evening, but there isn’t an area as such for a dog, although dog friendly. The cottage is in a good spot to access most areas especially Red Wharf cove and Beaumaris.

Miss C,

A well placed and comfortable cottage,

Mrs G,

Lovely peaceful location, cosy cottage , friendly owners and tasty cheese made on the farm.

Dr V,

Beautifully presented cottage as part of a larger complex of other cottages converted from farm buildings. There's a sun trap shared courtyard. Very peaceful. Lovely if slightly pungent welcome pack ( you'll understand when you get it!). Everything there was top quality. TV was basic so bring a scart and a laptop (USB didn't seem to work). Very minor issue though as you don't come on holiday to watch telly. About a 3 minute drive to main A5025 so good location. Would recommend.

Mrs H,

Fantastic little place, everything you need for a cosy break. Easy to get to local towns and several beaches, but out the way enough for total peace and quiet. Everything you need for a home from home, perfect relaxing little get away. Beds really comfortable, slept really well. Honesty shop on campsite opposite for basics. Co-op, Spar and Tesco in Benllech only few minutes away if you needed more supplies. Milk and cheese left for arrival were delicious, more cheese bought from campsite shop to take home! Will book again.

Mrs M,

Lovely cottage. Good location. Well equipped. Clean and comfortable

Ms H,

The cottage is pleasantly remote, albeit a little difficult to find. A few minor problems were very promptly resolved by the very approachable owners. We spent a comfortable week in this accommodation.

Mrs S,

Beautifully decorated throughout with tasteful soft furnishings fully in keeping with the property. The beds were very comfortable and towels were provided. Lovely welcome pack including Welsh cakes with Gouda, blue cheese and crackers in the fridge along with a jug of milk fresh that morning.

Mrs B,

The cottage was beautifully presented, modern furniture and felt really cosy. The shower was brilliant with plenty of hot water. Location a little tricky to find at first but very nice location in very quiet area.

Mrs T,

Fantastic location, perfect holiday property for a young family and extremely welcoming owners.

Mr J,

Lovely cottage everything you need for a comfortable holiday.

Mr G,

We had a great family holiday at Cwt Y Bugail, close to beautiful beaches. Owners were very friendly. We'll be back :)
