The property description on the website is a fair one. We found everything much as we expected, and hoped for, as a couple of friends who wanted to explore this beautiful coastal area, walking every day but coming back to cook meals in the evenings. The cottage was more than well-equipped for our purposes. We liked the easy parking and the good light inside. The good-sized fridge was so useful in the hot weather, but we struggled a little without fans in the converted roof bedrooms. Pack light nightwear in summer! The roof lights do open, which helped a little. We appreciated the good storage space upstairs for our clothing - lots of drawers and hanger space. This is an end cottage on a busy road, so families with young children or less mobile people might find it a bit too far to walk into Tenby regularly, but we actually enjoyed the 20 minute energetic yomp most days, to and from the town, even loaded with supermarket shopping! It was very quiet in the evenings. There are some pretty countryside walks very close by for evening/morning strolls. The patio garden was by the road and you have to go out the front door and through a gate to reach it, but it’s safely enclosed, and it did provide a shady outdoor area to escape the heat. Overall, a very comfortable stay in a well-renovated, thoughtfully equipped, interesting little cottage! Recommend it!
Great location, lovely little place, would highly recommend and would stay again!
Great cottage would stay in again
Clean and tidy. We enjoyed the walk into Tenby. Best of Wales have given good service. Property descriptions accurate. Communication before and after the holiday was good. No complaints at all.
The location of the property was just right. Nice and quiet and about a 5 minute drive from Tenby town centre. Had 2 reserved parking spaces for each cottage. The property was perfect for us with 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 bathrooms as well as a toilet downstairs. It has modern furniture with good appliances including washing machine and dishwasher. Beautifully clean. Couldn't find fault with it. Tenby was beautiful with lovely beaches with a lovely town centre with a mixture of shops. Would definitely visit "The Nook" and "The Cranny". Excellent fish & chips at Park Road Fish and Chop Shop. Plenty of places to eat and drink and has the added bonus of a Sainsbury's if you want to cater for yourself. Couldn't believe how cheap it was to park in the card park for the whole day. Just £4 for 24 hours. Would also definitely visit Barafundle Bay beach. Outstanding!
This is a lovely property fairly close to the town. View from front door isn’t the best but once inside you wouldn’t know as the property is lovely and well maintained . Bed was so comfy . We would certainly book again
