Reviews

Really lovely spacious holiday cottage! And great location for exploring locally!

Mrs G,

The cottage was great, couple of things missing, a dustpan and brush would have been nice as we had two youngsters who can be messy eaters. Had great weather so could use all the space outdoors. No phone signal ( not your fault but annoying,) scary very narrow roads, no worries for me I'm a seasoned driver but for many it could be a deal breaker, ( again not your fault ). Very peaceful when the kids sut up, lots of birds to watch, lovely.

Mr Robert D,

Map

This cottage is a mid-link property on a former farmyard that now contains 10 holiday cottages. The beach at Sandy Haven is only a few hundred yards away. The nearest pub, The Brook Inn is just over a mile away at St Ishmaels. It is a family friendly and relaxed pub offering pub food. Sandy Haven is an inlet that is part of the Milford Haven waterway. The sheltered waters are perfect for kayaking and crab fishing.

There are many great beaches nearby including Marloes Sands, Little Haven and Broad Haven. Dale and St Brides are interesting coves and from Dale you can catch fishing, bird watching and even dolphin watching boats before returning to the Griffin Inn on the quayside for some food. Broad Haven is a huge family friendly sandy beach and is a favourite with bathers and water sports enthusiasts. The area is a mecca for cyclists, with the Celtic Cycle Route (National cycle route 4) passing nearby and many miles of quiet country lanes to be explored.

Among the many coastal delights is the village of Little Haven, just a short drive away. Once a base for sea trading and smuggling it has a lovely sandy beach, several pubs and great cafe and shop specialising in locally caught seafood. The beach is popular for fishing, windsurfing and is ideal for families. At low tide you can walk around across the sand to Broad Haven.
