Group Services
Our local team is backed up by great support from The Original Cottage Company's Group Services. Based in the lovely market town of Reepham in central Norfolk, they provide expert guidance, support and training in Sales, Marketing, Photography, Accounting and IT. All the Group Services teams keep in close contact with TOCC's local agencies around the country to make sure that we are working together to continuously improve our services to homeowners and holidaymakers.
The Sales Support Team
We’re here to provide a friendly and accessible booking service for your guests. Open 7 days a week, our extended opening hours allow customers to get in touch by telephone, email and website LiveChat. Working closely with your local team, we provide a seamless customer experience that ensures we’re well placed to seize every opportunity and maximise occupancy for your holiday home.
The Marketing Team
With a wealth of experience, our team provides expertise in many areas of marketing. This includes search engine optimisation and paid search specialists who are focused on making our websites more visible online, graphic designers who understand our demographic and the importance of branding, and data analysts who leverage insights across our family of brands to influence our activity.
The Photography Team
We provide photography training for staff across the company, ensuring our equipment and processes are industry leading. We also undertake professional landscape, lifestyle and showcase property photo shoots along with any design or video production work. On top of all this we also look after back office admin such as network infrastructure, property directory backups and quality control.
The Accounts Team
The Original Cottage Company has a small accounts team of ten, headed by John Willmot the company’s Finance Director and managed by Michelle Pooley, the company’s accountant. The team deals with all the company’s financial matters, including paying our homeowners, suppliers and cleaners, as well as operating the staff payroll and producing the company’s monthly management accounts.
The IT Team
The IT team builds and maintains systems for the business – including our booking system, tabs, (which we also sell to other letting agencies) and our suite of websites. The team are dedicated to the performance, reliability and security of the systems we support. With such dependence on technology across the business, the robustness of our systems is critical.
