Reviews

I loved my stay here. The cottage was cozy, clean, well organised and had home comforts. Lowri was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. My dogs loved all the beach walks that were a short drive away! Perfect place to stay whilst exploring Gwynedd. I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Thank you

Miss H,

Great little cottage, the owners where extremely helpful and very welcoming. They even baked a wonderful chocolate cake for us would highly recommend anyone to give this lovely little cottage a go.

Mr I B,

"Absolutely perfect." A warm welcome on arrival by the owners, the cottage was beautiful and spotless. Warm, cosy and everything you could possibly need. Layout and grounds are fabulous, especially if you have a dog. We went out and about every day and the cottage was lovely to come home too. We loved the location and we will definitely return. Thank you

Mr F,

Made to feel very welcome by the owners, who gave up a lot of their time to explain the working of the farm and to help with our Welsh language learning. Must give Meillionen Fach the highest possible recommendation. L & AB September 2023

Map

Anyone with a love of the countryside will be overwhelmed with its idyllic setting. This semi detached cottage is 2 miles from the coast and situated up a quiet, enchanting country lane 1.4 miles from the main B4413 road, on a working farm where Welsh is spoken as the first language. Immaculately tidy and well-kept gardens and yard, with in season flowers and shrubs. The farm yard is separate from the cottage making it more peaceful and quiet. Ideally situated to explore the pretty villages, stunning beaches, coves and harbours of the Llyn Peninsula.

The picturesque village of Aberdaron is 3 miles away with lovely pubs/cafes/shops/ bakery, and Porth y Swnt which is an interpretation centre by the National Trust. The village was the last rest stop for pilgrims heading for Bardsey Island. Also worth visiting is Porthoer (Whistling Sands) - known for its famous ‘ whistling sands’. This secluded gem of a beach is one of the perfect beaches in Wales. Just 4 miles away, this is a great place to relax with a beach café and beautiful coastal walks.

Another special experience is to catch a boat to Bardsey Island from Porth Meudwy (3 miles). Phone Colin to book your trip on 079710769895.
