Reviews

The property is in a lovely setting, close to the town, yet tucked away enough that you feel away from it all. The owners were lovely and welcoming. The property was spacious and well equipped. It had the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in and a well equipped kitchen with everything to cook a meal if you need to. The owners were lovely, the gardens beautiful, plenty of parking, will definitely return. First time I have used your website, I found it easy to use and the property was exactly as described and good value for money considering it was the Easter break. An excellent holiday company, who advertise their properties honestly and you get the impression that nothing is too much trouble. They are very informative providing good detail. I will definitely use them in the future. Corwen itself is a town that is being revived thanks to the steam railway and I would recommend it to anyone, good places to eat, friendly pubs, excellent walking from the doorstep, friendly people. You are not far from other places such as Llangollen and other attractions in North Wales, although we found enough locally to keep our interest. In particular the Corwen Museum is definitely a must visit, and the walk to the viewpoint over the town is excellent as is the historic hill fort. Excellent all round and one of our favourite visits now.

Mrs Vicky N,

The Stables was a brilliant choice! The cottage was warm and welcoming with a large lounge and a very well equipped kitchen. We were thrilled to see a real stove! There were two large bedrooms both with king size beds and ensuites. The fluffy white towels were the best ever and the owners had even thought of tea and coffee AND biscuits! We could walk right from the cottage to the town and footpaths. We discovered the Dagger Trail and the Hill Fort both affording unbelievable views of the river Dee. The owners were friendly and helpful and had obviously put a lot of effort into making this cottage so comfortable. We were a group of two couples and two dogs and it could not have been better! Highly recommended!!
