Reviews

A fantastic stay a Beacons View Farm. Clean, comfortable and well equipped cottages in a beautiful location. Menna and John so friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Mrs R,

We loved it! Stunning views and very accommodating

Mr M,

We had a fantastic time! views for days. There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and the rooms were very comfortable

Miss B,

We booked these cottages as a group of 11 friends. We all agreed that they were comfortable and well equipped in an outstandingly beautiful location. The hot tubs were a real plus and were used by most of us by turns. The cottage with the largest living are was great for us all to congregate, eat together, play music and games and chat. Although we paid more for these cottages per person than we usually would we felt that it had been money well spent and we had a wonderful time together over the weekend, including Oscar the dog.

Ms F,

This place is simply incredible! The value for what you get is just immense. Everything about the place is wonderful - the views, the facilities, the spaces.. I can't wait to get back there. It really is something more than special!

Miss S,

We had a fantastic time. Our whole family was able to come including a very new baby. Great to have the cottages separate but close and safe area around for the children to play together. Lovely space to congregate for meals in the big house. But also good to be able to retreat to the peace and quiet of a separate cottage. We made lots of good memories that we'll treasure. Hot tubs were great, and games room fun. Only negative was some of the equipment in the games room had been broken by some previous visitors. Owner said he might put a returnable deposit on this equipment, which sounded a good idea. Thank you so much John and Menna for a wonderful week.

Mrs M,

It has beautiful views and plenty to do in the area. The hot tubs and games room were great on wet days. We will be booking again for next year.

Miss Jackie T,

This property exceeded all of my expectations. The views are stunning and the property is so secluded , couldn’t see another house for miles. Very safe for children and dogs to play outside. The property is beautiful and looked after well. The hosts are lovely and we felt at home here. I would highly recommend.

Mrs U,

Ideal for our family weekend (9 adults/9 children). Split over 3cottages with the largest suitable for us to prepare and eat our meals together. Games room gave extra facility and space for indoor play when raining. Exceeded our expectations, would use again.

Mrs H,

Fantastic property, lovely location, great and constant communication so i never had to chase to find out more details. Everything went very smoothly and we would definitely stay again. Owners very friendly and welcoming.

Dr William W,

Lovely property and location with amazing panoramic views. Shame the games room’ was not too good but a new one is being constructed and the excellent weather meant it wasn’t a problem during our stay.

Mrs Carol T,

Brilliant property, amazing location, super friendly owners

Mr Anesh C,

In general we found the cottages to be set in a beautiful location (as described on the website). However the games room is in a very sorry state and hasn’t been looked after. All sports equipment inside were damaged or incomplete. Maybe this is due to the owners attention being focused on the new games room being built. The outdoor play ground had been removed and relocated away from use. This might have been because it was damaged, or deemed dangerous. I strongly believe these point should have been brought to my attention prior to our arrival. The outdoor cigarette bins were over flowing and hadn’t been empty for sometime. As a family of non-smokers this left an unpleasant smell around them. The properties were found in a good state but in need of a good dusting and some TLC. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly even tended to the unpleasant job of clearing a blockage, caused by previous holiday makers, to the toilet system. However the warmth of the owners, coupled with the beauty of the location outweigh all negative points. Would love to return in the not so distant future.

Lord Richard C,

We had a lovely time, the properties were of a very high standard with excellent amenities. The booking process was smooth and communication from Best of Wales and the owner was great.

Ms Chloe W,

We had a fantastic stay it’s a beautiful place well equipped and would definitely return only thing was lots of flies in bedrooms and cobwebs but an amazing place

Mrs Clare S,

This was such a beautiful place, the cottages were just stunning and the views, the room we all had was amazing. Pictures don’t do this place justice at all!! We came away for my husband 40th birthday but will definitely be returning next year for our annual Xmas get together. It had everything we needed. Just bring your own food and drinks and you don’t need anything else. The owners brought us more logs to put on the fire which was really nice too. Such a lovely place to stay. Out of the way from everybody very private and lots of space to relax. Thank you for such a lovely experience ????

Mrs Michelle J,

Absolutely beautiful location The cottages had been cleverly renovated. They all were homely, comfortable and welcoming. The facilities were perfect ??

Mrs Tonia M,
