Booking Terms and Conditions
1.Best of Wales Limited (hereinafter referred to as Best of Wales) act as Booking Agents only on behalf of the Owner/s of the holiday accommodation (the Property Owner). Accordingly, any contract made is between the person making the booking (the Holidaymaker) and the Property Owner. No contract will be binding between the Holidaymaker and the Property Owner until Best of Wales has issued a booking confirmation.
2.All bookings must be accompanied by the appropriate deposit. The final balance is payable 60 days before the commencement of the holiday. Bookings may be subject to cancellation if the payment balance is not received by the due date.
3.Any government variation in the current VAT rate of 20% (or any variation in the Property Owner's liability for VAT) may cause a variation in the prices shown on this website.
4.All cancellations must be notified in writing to Best of Wales. The contract requires the Holidaymaker to pay for the accommodation booked in the event of a cancellation unless:
a)there is a holiday cancellation insurance in place that provides cover for all cancellations made under one of the circumstances detailed under Cancellations below. In which case, the Holidaymaker is eligible for a full refund.
c)having been notified of the cancellation less than 60 days prior to the start of the holiday, if Best of Wales are able to re-let; all payments made by the Holidaymaker will be refunded less a re-booking charge of 20% of the total cost of the holiday.
The above terms apply to all properties except for Cardiff Bay Lodge, Cardiff Boutique Townhouse and Llety Canna. The cancellation charges for these 3 units are listed under the additional information details of those properties.
5.The Holidaymaker undertakes to keep the accommodation and all furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday and to leave the accommodation clean and tidy. The cost of any damage or breakages must be paid to the Property Owner or their representative. The Property Owner or their representative shall be allowed access to the accommodation at any reasonable time during the holiday.
6.The number of persons using the accommodation at any time must not exceed the maximum number as stated on this website.
7.Every effort has been made to ensure that information on this website is correct based on the time of inspection at the accommodation and all this information and statements made by representatives or employees of Best of Wales are made in good faith but without liability.
8.The information provided by Best of Wales and which may be published on their website is made in good faith on behalf of the Property Owners. Best of Wales can make no representations about the suitability of the accommodation as it only acts as agent for the Property Owner at all times. Any enquiries as to the suitability of the accommodation can be sent to Best of Wales who, if necessary, will immediately consult with the Property Owner on your behalf. All information provided by Best of Wales is supplied as is and without warranty of any kind.
9.In the event of any problem arising on arrival or during the holiday, the Holidaymaker should immediately bring this to the attention of the Property Owner or their representative. If this does not solve the problem, the Holidaymaker should immediately inform Best of Wales in order that it may be investigated and rectified whenever possible. Best of
10. Best of Wales recommends that Holidaymakers take out their own holiday insurance.
11. Please note that the card you enter on your booking form will be pre-authorised to allow Best of Wales to process the balance payment and / or security bond using the same details. Please notify Best of Wales soon as possible if you wish to use a different card or payment method for future payments or security bonds

In the case of a cancellation caused by any of the following circumstances please contact the insurance broker that provided your Holiday Cancellation Insurance. A valid claim can cover the person who made the booking or any person named on the booking form.
- Death, accidental bodily injury or illness.
- Jury service.
- Witness call.
- Unemployment caused by redundancy after the date the booking was made.
- Pregnancy occurring after the date the booking was made.
- Occupational posting not known at the date the booking was made. Restricted to the armed forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, etc) and does not include change of employment or civilian job relocation.
- A main residence or business premiums insurance claim due to fire, storm, flood, malicious damage or theft occurring seven days or less prior to the holiday start date.
The insurance provider can also refund payments on the same basis as above in respect of a cancellation due to death, accidental bodily injury or illness of a close relative or business associate of the person who made the booking or any person named on the booking form.
For all cancellations due to any of the circumstances detailed above, Best of Wales must be notified immediately of any occurrence that may result in a claim for a refund. All claims must be submitted directly to the insurance broker / provider as instructed when the policy was activated. Supporting documentary evidence must be provided by the claimant and at their expense.
a)Disinclination to travel.
b)Failure of public or private transport systems.
c)Suicide, attempted suicide, insanity, the influence of alcohol or the effect of drugs not taken in accordance with treatment described by a qualified medical practitioner.
d)The booking of a holiday that is, or would be against the advice of a qualified medical practitioner.
e)The imposing of quarantines or restrictions on travel by the Government or Public Authority.
f)Where the loss is covered by any insurance held by a claimant.
g)Any claim directly or indirectly arising out of any nuclear, chemical or biological contamination or any act of terrorism.
Please refer to our booking conditions above, item 4 (b) and 4 (c), regarding cancellations not liable for a refund. We will always use our best endeavours to re-let a cancelled booking; please inform us immediately should you wish to cancel your booking.
