A well needed family half term break - a lovely property where you felt relaxed as soon as you walked in.
Recommendations: A visit to Aberystwyth and the funicular railway to the top of Constitution Hill. Also a boat trip to spot seals & porpoises from New Quay.

The perfect private spot. It couldn't have been better. Staff at the local pub are great, they even gave us a lift back.

Ideal location for a week's walking from Porthmadog to Borth on the WCP, using the train for shuttles. Spotlessly clean cottage.
Bistro Bermo - lovely little restaurant in the centre of Barmouth with well-deserved reputation. Book before you go.

We stayed at Bodrydd, a most amazing property. Equipment and fitting better than any previous holiday let we have ever stayed in. Went as a big family group with ages 7/8 years to 21/22 years and this accommodated us better than we could have ever wished for. Was three generations - ourselves, two daughters and their husbands and our four grandchildren. Was a fabulous holiday had by all.
We visited several beaches during our stay but Porthor (Whistling Sands) - only 15mins away, was our favourite also the Rabbit Farm just outside Criccieth was a favourite of the children. Market at Pwllheli is also worth a visit. Too many lovely villages and towns to mention in one.

The cottage was beautiful with coordinating furnishing and spotlessly clean and fresh. The owner, Mali, has thought of everything including providing fresh, delicious Welsh cakes. We will definitely book the cottage again soon. The Gower peninsula is beautiful and the beaches really clean. Mumbles is well worth a visit

Beautiful, relaxing weekend away. Bring waterproofs for all the rain! And make sure you get outside and enjoy the surrounding villages/forests.

Our host gave us the right directions and then waited to flag us down. Alan and Margaret provided a lovely welcome.
Recommends: Local potteries and galleries, a visit to the woolen mill and visit some of the surrounding beaches.

Fabulous views from the property made the week even more special!
Tips: Climb Cadair Idris.
Walk up to the lake behind the property and do some wild swimming.
Play cricket on the beach in Fairbourne.

Had a great weekend away. First time on the Llyn Peninsula. Nia made us so welcome with tea and cake and lots of great advice on places to visit both for walking and eating. The cottage was spacious, very clean and cosy and in a quiet location with easy access to all parts of the peninsula. A great find! Saw seals off the coast of Morfa Nefyn. Great pub Ty Coch Inn on the sand

Spencer Family from Cheshire, 15 Nov 2016

The property is a very high standard. It's beautifully clean and tastefully decorated. There were lovely personal touches. We enjoyed the lovely facilities like the wood burner in the evening and thought it was very well kept.
Tips: Take plenty of supplies on your visit! The nearest supermarket is quite a way away. They're all very friendly in the village so there is a selection of food at the spar and bakery, but unless you want to eat out all the time, take supplies!
