The lodge is elegant and stylish, with amazing riverside views from most of the rooms, especially the master bedroom which opens onto a large balcony where you can relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. Well-equipped with modern furnishings as well as a traditional aga, a welcoming log burner in the spacious, comfortable drawing room, and a games room with a 3/4 size Snooker table and the most magnificent views. A smart, well-cared for, enclosed garden with wonderful views of the River Wye, features a built in charcoal barbecue and luxury furniture, making it perfect for al fresco dining, and is safe for children and dogs.

Some great eating options can be found a little further afield, including The Griffin at Felin Fach and The Greyhound at Aberedw. The Wye Valley Walk is right on your doorstep and the Brecon Beacons National Park is just 25 minutes away, great for walking and cycling. Reviews

Cottage is in a beautiful location. The view is amazing in a Very quiet and peaceful place. We accept the cottage caters for dogs but we felt the cleanliness wasn’t the best and the kitchen area needed a good clean. No cleaning products were left as they aren’t allowed to be provided. So we purchased are own to clean around. The little town nearby is lovely and there Is nice cafes and shops. I can imagine it to be a fantastic place in the summer to stay. Thank you!

Miss G,

A fantastic, spacious yet cosy lodge, perfectly quiet (apart from the owls and the river) far away from every day life but only 10 minutes drive from the town, this place is highly recommended for a "get away from it all" stay.

Mr R,

Return visit - WiFi noticeably better - same fabulous tranquil location; logs and kindling greatly appreciated.

Mr B,

Very well presented cottage in a remote peaceful location. Pool table was a great idea, the lodge was warm and comfortable. Thank you!

Ms J,

This is a really nice property in a perfect location. We Booked this lodge for the riverside location for kayaking and the snooker table The location is amazing and we enjoyed kayaking, walking and stargazing on clear nights with shooting stars right from the door. We also had decent enough weather that we could sit outside to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner the kitchen is lovely

Mr D,

The most fantastic location with stunning views.

Mrs H,

One of the loveliest places we’ve stayed. The pictures definitely don’t do it justice. There is nothing to see or hear apart from countryside, animals and birds. Ideal place to completely switch off.

Mrs O,

Comfortable roomy house in peaceful setting. Great for nature lovers as huge variety birds, wildlife. Walks from the door & lovely verandah to sit & admire views!

Mrs G,

A lot to recommend this property: so very peaceful, views outstanding, feel like you have the river all to yourself, so much wildlife, dark skies at night, house much better than in photos and (spacious and very comfortable), amazing walks on the doorstep, ten minute drive to shops, supermarket, cafes and pubs. Not many amazing restaurants or shops in the area, but plenty of nice cafes (Lakeside Cafe Llandidrod Wells, Cafe Cwtch in Builth). For days out we went to Haye-on-Wye (vintage, antiques, bookshops, good eateries), climbed Pen Y Fan, sunned ourselves in Aberystwyth (amazing choice of restaurants and lots to do) and paddle boarding in Llandidrod. The Zip World climbing tower was great for our teenagers.

Mr H,

The description and photos really do not do the lodge justice. It is superbly comfortable, location could not be better if you want peace and quiet, but it is close enough to see the many sights of this beautiful part of Wales

Mr M,

Beautiful lodge and amazing location. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Mrs R,
